There are many impactful ways to get involved with MISSION: Boots to Briefcases and help us support the veteran community. Whether you choose to volunteer your time, share your expertise by submitting an article for our blog, donate, or simply spread the word about our organization, your contribution will make a meaningful difference. Our mission is to empower veterans and their families as they navigate the often complex system of benefits and services available to them — and we are proud to provide these services at no cost.
Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure veterans receive the support they deserve, whether accessing benefits, assisting with military discharge upgrade consultations, finding employment, or making a smooth transition back to civilian life. By working together, we can create a strong network of resources and support for those who have served our country. Join us in positively impacting the lives of veterans and their families today!
Join our Ambassador Program!
MISSION: Boots to Briefcases hosts a monthly coffee break for veterans and their immediate families at the Pilgrim Senior Center, 27 Pilgrim Parkway, Warwick, RI 02888. We are looking for veterans of all ages to share our information and extend an invitation to veterans throughout the Ocean State to our various events. Become a member of our outreach team as an Ambassador and help enrich the lives of fellow veterans.
WRITE ON!
We are recruiting freelance writers for our military family blog, "In the Loop." Although this is a non-paid gig, we will happily provide you with a byline and condensed intro to help with your portfolio.
Call for "Special Event" Staff Volunteers
If you are willing to roll up your sleeves, work with an eclectic group of people, and enjoy being in the company of military veterans, then we want you on our team! At times, our organization needs volunteers to assist us with special events. It may be setting up a room, sitting at a reception table, handling registrations, distributing literature, light gardening, or waving an American flag on a parade float or before an Honor Flight takes off. This is a terrific way to get involved in the community as much or as little as you desire while helping with outreach to local military families.
Military Lounge Staff
The Rhode Island Military Organization (RIMO) is one of our strategic partners. They created and have operated the Military Lounge at TF Green International Airport for 13 years. The Military Lounge in T.F. Green airport will host over 10,000 Armed Forces members and their families annually. This facility will have a staff to include (3) coordinators and a team of volunteers to accommodate customers and serve coffee, refreshments, entertainment, and short-term quarters for delayed troops.
For more information about the military lounge at T. F. Green or to volunteer to work in the airport lounge, don't hesitate to get in touch with the RIMO Airport committee
If you have any questions about our organization or would like to learn more about how you can get involved, please don't hesitate to contact us. We would love to hear from you.
