Our Story, Our People
About MB2B
Built by veterans, for veterans — right here in Rhode Island.
Where We Come From
Mission: Boots to Briefcases was born out of a simple, frustrating truth: too many Rhode Island veterans were leaving the military with real skills, real discipline, and real potential and still struggling to find their footing in civilian life. MB2B offers career support, benefits guidance, family resources, and community connection — all free of charge, all delivered with respect.
What We Stand For
Veterans First, Always
Every decision we make starts with one question: does this serve the veteran? Our programs, our partnerships, and our priorities are all built around the people we exist to support.
No Cost, No Catch
Veterans and their immediate families receive every service we offer completely free of charge. That's not a promotion — it's a principle.
Rooted in Rhode Island
We're a local organization serving a local community. We know the employers, the agencies, and the neighborhoods — and we show up in person, not just online.
Dignity in Every Interaction
We treat every veteran as an individual with a unique story, not a case number in a system. Respect, warmth, and genuine care are non-negotiable.
In the Community
MB2B shows up where veterans are at job fairs, community events, VA facilities, and neighborhood gatherings across Rhode Island. We partner with local employers, nonprofits, and government agencies to make sure no veteran falls through the cracks.
