VFW membership is open to all veterans of foreign wars including military service members from active duty, the national guard and reserve forces. The VFW assists members in accessing their federal and state benefits and provides a welcoming place for veterans and families to connect.

An online military community for families, offering support, resources and connection. Blue Star Families helps military-connected families thrive through programs, resources and a nationwide network.

Honoring Fallen Heroes through events and workshops that provide networking, learning and support for Veteran and Gold Star Families. These events offer guidance, insight and an opportunity to connect with others who understand.

We educate people about home ownership and help arrange financing for purchase, refinance and reverse mortgage loans. We also work with government agencies and banks to support renovations for veterans and families.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Rhode Island has provided hope and assistance to Rhode Island neighbors in need since 1853. Through its community network, the organization helps individuals and families access essentials such as food, clothing, household necessities, and assistance with housing and utility needs.

DAV helps veterans file claims with the VA for healthcare, compensation and disability pensions. They assist with burial benefits, caregiver services, vocational readiness and employment benefits.

Provides statewide referrals to member agencies offering individual and group counseling services to victims of sexual assault free of charge. Individual counseling is available to victims ages 13 and up.
