6/3: Chelo's "Salute to veterans." On the first Wednesday of every month, please come to Chelo's in Warwick on Post Road (across from TF Green International Airport, 2225 Post Road) for a meal, snack or drinks & aps. When you write "Mission Boots to Briefcases" on the merchant's receipt, up to 20% of your bill will be donated to our nonprofit. This fundraiser is from opening to closing. Join us!

6/7: SUNDAY FUNDAY: VETS CLASSIC CAR SHOW! 11:00 at Smithfield Elks Lodge, 326 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, RI. Features classic cars, live music, food trucks, raffles, and a pinup pageant. The event benefits local veterans organizations; entry is free, but monetary donations are welcomed.
6/8: VETERANS COFFEE BREAK, Come to Pilgrim Senior Center (27 Pilgrim Parkway, Warwick) for a continental breakfast and Guest Speakers.
6/8: Mondays in June (starting June 8, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM) . Weekly charity cruise nights to support NEADS service dogs (which trains and places service dogs for disabled veterans and those with PTSD). Features live entertainment and food trucks. 15 Centre of New England Blvd, Coventry, RI
6/9: Second Annual Morgan & Harmony Flag Day Celebration . Morgan Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, 80 Morgan Ave, Johnston, RI. 10 - 3, An official Flag Day ceremony and community gathering featuring veteran keynote speakers, a gun salute, Taps, and a brunch reception.

7/4: RI250 Commemoration: On July 4th, the State House will host a public viewing of Rhode Island’s copies of the Declaration of Independence from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
7/4: RI Philharmonic Orchestra: At 6:45 PM, the orchestra will perform as part of a special 250th-anniversary independence celebration, which ties into the evening's full WaterFire lighting.

7/11: FRENCH IN NEWPORT. Washington Square, Newport (10:00 AM - 4:00 PM): The Newport Historical Society is hosting a day of living history to commemorate the July 1780 arrival of Gen. Rochambeau and 6,000 French soldiers and sailors. The event will include historical demonstrations, musket/artillery firing performances, and hands-on activities.
